Rescue in Practice

Rescue in Practice is a non-profit organization based in Agormanya in the Eastern Region of the Republic of Ghana.

Rescue in Practice is a small group of philanthropists interested in providing essential services for children, women and young people with the purpose to reduce poverty in the Lower and Upper Manya Districts, Ghana.

Rescue in Practice is a distinguished sustainable organisation in Ghana with local and international spread. We partner with faith based organizations, schools and community groups to undertake interventions and advocacy initiatives to make people happy and content.

Rescue in Practice is focused on research, entrepreneurial capacity building of the youth, education intervention and advocacy to expand the opportunities of the poor.

Mission:

The mission of Rescue in Practice is to empower the underprivileged youth, children, and women through the provision of essential services.

Objectives

  1. To equip young people with entrepreneurial skills for job creation
  2. To support the educational needs of vulnerable children.
  3. To empower young people with civic rights and responsibilities and instill sense of nationalism and patriotism
  4. To create forum and platform for young people to dialogue, exchange ideas and information on development.

What we do

  1. Conduct research on community problems
  2. Solicit for funds to help solve identified community problems
  3. Provide scholarship for needy children
  4. Provide services for women to address gender inequality
  5. Build the capacity of deprived people through entrepreneurial training.
  6. Empower community members through seminars and community forums.
